11 Sites Selected for 2006 RARE Technical Assistance and Funding Opportunity

ESI received a total of 42 applications (31 for Priority 1 and 11 for Priority 2) in response to the funding announcement. After careful analysis and consideration a Federal review panel selected nine sites for Priority 1 and two sites for Priority 2.

The 2006 Priority 1 sites are:

  • Howard University Center for Infectious Disease Management and Research (Washington, DC)
  • Foothill AIDS Project (Claremont, CA)
  • The ACCESS Network, Inc. (Ridgeland, SC)
  • Public Health Trust/South Florida AIDS Network (Miami, FL)
  • Youth Outreach Adolescent Community Awareness Program (Philadelphia, PA)
  • International AIDS Empowerment (El Paso, TX)
  • Latino Family Services (Detroit, MI)
  • AIDS Coalition of Volusia/Flager, Inc. (Holly Hill, FL)
  • Prevention Effectiveness Consortium on Health and Education, (Stone Mountain, GA)

The 2006 Priority 2 sites are:

  • Community Education Group (Washington, DC)
  • Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (Portland, OR)
